The grand finale of the Red Bull Air Race 2010
The grand finale of the Red Bull Air Race World Championship at the German Lausitzring left a lasting impression on the crowd, the pilots and the organisers.
Last Sunday Paul Bonhomme became the first pilot in the history of the Red Bull Air Race to win back-to-back championship titles. As a result we would like to take this opportunity to pass on our congratulations for this great achievement. Going into the final race of the season, Bonhomme's rival Hannes Arch had hopes of snatching the title, yet it was not to be for the Austrian. Nevertheless, Arch did manage to seal victory in what was the last race for the time being, as the Red Bull Air Race is taking a break in 2011.
WEST4MEDIA has also taken a look back at an eventful season, in which the race in New York over the Hudson River was an unforgettable highlight. Thanks to the excellent teamwork from all of our partners, we were once again able to provide live broadcasting of the highest quality, something underlined by the second Emmy award in as many years. In this respect, Paul Bonhomme is not the only one to have successfully defended a title.
