AirPower 09 takes off with WEST4MEDIA
Zeltweg in Styria hosts one of the biggest European air shows. 250,000 spectators visit the iconic military air base of the Austrian Federal Army to witness the impressive show. This year WEST4MEDIA will produce a report and a documentary for the 'AirPower09' DVD.
Organising an air show of such scale is a logistic challenge. Pilots from 19 nations are brought to Styria to show off their great talent. Highlights of the programme are the displays flown by Patrouille Suisse and the Turkish Stars. In addition, the Austrian Federal Army puts its ultra modern Eurofighter jets on display. Friends of vintage aircraft will also find lots of remarkable machinery.
WEST4MEDIA will shoot a 'behind the scenes' report, which will provide viewers with a deeper insight into the great show and the people who run it. One other highlight of the air show is the 100th anniversary of Air Racing. WEST4MEDIA is also working on a piece featuring this topic for the 'AirPower09' DVD.
