Hero Shoot Red Bull Air Race 2010

In 2010 WEST4MEDIA will once again produce the most spectacular motorsport event of our time: the Red Bull Air Race. However, before the season commences all of the race pilots have to prove their talent and skills live on stage. This year the Salzburg Arena was transformed into a huge film studio to shoot the ‘hero' and greenbox shots. Interviews with the pilots were also part of the project.

A project of this magnitude represents a massive logistic challenge. All 15 pilots have to complete all of the necessary shots and recordings in only two days: a ‘hero shot' setup with up to seven perspectives, the greenbox for TV graphics, and the traditional season preview interview. To achieve this mission a well-planned and precise time schedule is required. But the effort was certainly worthwhile. A ‘making of' video and a teaser will soon be available in the WEST4MEDIA showroom.
