Kiddy Contest 2009
The Kiddy Contest is turning fifteen. And the passion of the kids is still unparalleled. Yet on the TV production side, everything is new. For the first time WEST4MEDIA will produce the successful children and music show for the broadcasters ORF and NICK. A DVD will be out just before Christmas.
The Kiddy Contest was initiated by Erwin Kiennast. Together with his partner Norman Weichselbaum the well-known Austrian composer and producer has created an opportunity for talented children to perform in front of large crowds of spectators. In recent years several new stars were launched by the popular children's talent show. Meanwhile the Kiddy Contest has established itself as the most successful German speaking music programme. Year after year the kiddy album climbs the charts to snatch heaps of gold and platinum awards.
In 2009, WEST4MEDIA will contribute its vast experience in large scale productions to the show to give the successful TV format a new and fresh look.
