WEST4MEDIA wins Emmy Award

It is a highlight in the history of Austrian sports television. WEST4MEDIA has been awarded a sports Emmy in recognition of the outstanding production quality of the Red Bull Air Race on Fox Sport Network (FSN). The 'television Oscar' is the most important TV award worldwide.

Last year's EMMY nomination for WEST4MEDIA did not go unnoticed in the industry, yet taking the 2009 award is a true sensation. The programme produced by WEST4MEDIA stole the most prestigious award worldwide from industry giants like NASCAR and the Olympics. The Emmy award for the Red Bull Air Race in the category 'outstanding technical team remote' was the only prize given to a European production company. All time greats like Muhammad Ali were present to applaud the winners.
